We have finally found time to upload our photos from our April trip to the Ribbon Reefs on MV Spoilsport. We had a great time catching up with our friend Trevor (ex skipper/owner of Esperance Star) who is now skippering Spoilsport. It was too rough to get out to Osprey Reef, but we had a wonderful trip anyway, and found some really amazing things..

We had the opportunity last weekend to join other crew members on board ES for what we now refer to as a "Maintenance Trip". As the boat has been sitting in the marina for some time waiting to be sold, every now and then we take her out just to make sure that everything is still running smoothly.........

We had a fantastic time over the Christmas/New Year break, catching up with family and friends and managing to fit in 4 days camping at Moreton Island with our friends Clint & Stacey, and some diving at Wolf Rock for Aaron's birthday. We have updated the album area with two new albums:

1. Moreton Island
2. Wolf Rock

To all our far flung friends and family - We hope you all had a great break over the festive season, and we wish you all the best for 2007..

New photos have been uploaded from our recent Far Northern Reefs trip on Nimrod Explorer. We had a fantastic time, and it was great to share another dive trip with mum and dad.

Did a double boat dive on the ex HMAS Brisbane with Sun Reef last weekend. First dive was a reccy around the outside, with Bullrays sighted on the sand and a large Grouper on the bow. Trevally and Red Emporer were plentiful. Second dive saw us penetrate through quite a bit of the inside including the engine room. It was rough on the surface and being inside enabled us to keep out of the surge. There were plenty of banded coral shrimp inside, and blennies all over the topside of the wreck.

This weekend we are off to North Stradbroke Island in the hope of seeing some Manta Rays.

Did a dive in the Tweed River this morning and completely misjudged the run of the tide. Got in way too early and ended up having a 20 minute surface stop up river while we waited for the tide to turn so we could float back to the car!

Saw a turtle and a marbled sting ray, several octopus, flat head, crayfish, banded coral shrimp and a couple of eels. Not a bad dive.
